Smoothing out the hair getting it to a desired texture to blend with the texture of the enhancements BEFORE installation. If the client's hair is relaxed, it would be better to use a blown out texture.

Parting the hair into 6 parts. Six sections Right and Left sides napes, Crown, Top. Oftentimes approaching texture can be a bit overwhelming, by parting the hair it will make it easier to approach.

Wrapping the individual parts into 6 bantu knots and extracting some of the moisture from a hooded dryer.

WIth texture it really is about getting the hair to the desired texture prior to the installation, as you want to avoid as much heat as possible on the weft. Heat = Shiny :(

Apply little to no producton hair prior to install. Really focus on keeping the canvas clean for the enhancement. Wash hair before the installation. Condition first and Shampoo afterwards.

Don’t use any product on the hair enhancements. Keep hair very clean for installation and maintenance.

Removal methodology doesn’t change. It’s honestly about explaining to your client that you are merging two different textures. Therefore there will be a bit of smoothing out their hair prior to installing the extension.
